InterServer RBL

rbl.interserver.netOperator: InterServerIP Blacklist

This blacklist has been discontinued and is no longer included in our checks.

Overview

InterServer RBL was operated by InterServer, a US-based web hosting and colocation provider. As a company handling significant email volumes across its hosted customer base, InterServer maintained its own blacklist to protect its infrastructure from spam and abuse.

The list was notable for being a hosting-provider-operated blacklist, combining spam trap data with abuse reports from InterServer's own mail systems. It has since been discontinued and is no longer queried.

How It Works

InterServer's RBL was populated from multiple internal sources: spam traps on InterServer's mail infrastructure, customer abuse reports, and automated detection of IPs sending high volumes of spam to InterServer-hosted domains. The list was primarily used within InterServer's own mail filtering stack, but was made publicly queryable as a DNSBL.

How to Get Delisted

The InterServer RBL is no longer active. No removal process is available. If your IP or sending reputation was affected historically, the listing has no current impact on deliverability. For issues with InterServer-hosted recipients, contact InterServer's abuse team directly through their current support channels.
