Overview
Nordspam was an anti-spam initiative focused on the Nordic and Scandinavian region, tracking IP addresses sending spam to Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, and Finnish mail infrastructure. It complemented broader international blacklists with specific visibility into spam patterns targeting this geographic area.
Nordspam collaborated with regional network operators and mail administrators to collect abuse data. The project has since been discontinued.
How It Works
Nordspam gathered spam reports from Nordic mail operators and spam traps distributed across Scandinavian networks. IPs generating complaints from regional users or hitting regional traps were added to the list. The geographic focus allowed it to identify spam campaigns specifically tailored to Nordic recipients.
How to Get Delisted
Nordspam is no longer operational. No removal process is available. For reaching Nordic recipients reliably, maintain good standing on major international blacklists such as Spamhaus and Barracuda, and check deliverability directly with large Nordic ISPs.
