Overview
0spam URL is the domain and URL-focused blacklist from the 0spam project, complementing the project's IP-based RBL and BL lists. Rather than tracking sending IPs, it catalogs domains and URLs that appear in spam message bodies β covering advertised websites, redirect domains, and shortened URLs used in spam campaigns.
The 0spam project emphasized low false-positive rates across all its lists, and the URL list was no exception. Unfortunately the project has been discontinued and this list is no longer maintained or queried.
How It Works
0spam extracted domains and URLs from spam samples collected via its trap network, then cross-referenced them against its own reputation database. Domains that appeared repeatedly in confirmed spam β especially those with no legitimate use β were added to the URL list. The list distinguished between domains that were directly operated by spammers and those that had been compromised.
How to Get Delisted
As 0spam URL has been discontinued, no removal action is necessary for current deliverability purposes. If you are researching a historical listing, the 0spam project no longer accepts removal requests. We recommend verifying your domain's standing with active alternatives such as Spamhaus DBL or URIBL.
