Overview
Woody's SMTP Blacklist is a small Swiss-based blacklist that focuses on detecting anomalous SMTP behavior. Unlike content-based blacklists, Woody's pays more attention to whether the sending server follows proper SMTP protocol conventions.
How It Works
The blacklist monitors SMTP connection patterns including connection frequency and protocol compliance. IPs exhibiting non-standard mail server behavior (such as high volumes of short connections or improper SMTP handshakes) get listed.
How to Get Delisted
Woody's SMTP doesn't have a public self-service removal tool. Listings typically expire automatically after the anomalous behavior stops.
This blacklist does not support manual removal. Listings expire automatically once the underlying issue is resolved.
